About the Role
Our client is seeking a Lead or Principal Mechanical Engineer to join a growing team and business in Brisbane. This role involves overseeing engineering aspects of design projects and managing a team of three engineers focused on the mechanical elements of mining projects. You will be involved in brownfield mining and sustaining capital projects that involve water processing.
Key Criteria
Over 12 years Mechanical Design Engineering experience
Able to manage internal multi-discipline works and collaborations with Civil engineering teams on multiple projects
RPEQ is preferred
Experience in managing design and engineering scopes, packages
Proven mineral processing plant experience - pumping, layout, piping
Have Technical Engineering knowledge, hands on experience doing piping and pumping calculations, processing plant selection, configuration experience
