Our client is a global leader in fluid engineering, with a local specialisation into the manufacture and overhaul of Electric Motors. Their large, high voltage motors division is rapidly expanding due to unprecedented growth across Australian industry. As a result, we are looking for multiple motor rewinders to be based at their Newcastle workshop.
What's involved?
Inspection, repair and overhaul of electro-mechanical equipment including High and Medium Voltage electric motors, generators, compressors, turbines, and other rotating equipment.
Rewind electric motors and generators
Control the flow of jobs through the Department including; scheduling, priorities, progress updates and productivity.
Occasional site work for experienced candidates
What are we looking for?
Mechanical Trade Qualification or Trade Qualified Electrical Fitter
Experience and / or knowledge of electro-mechanical rotating equipment
3 years minimum experience as a motor rewinder
A can do attitude and proactivity to execute projects
Great safety behaviours
Excellent work references that can support your application
