You new business is a growing defence technology organisation based in Sydney who are looking to expand their Production team in the new year. They provide mission essential capabilities through their technology and products to support defence capabilities.
Your new role
As a Test Technician, you'll be joining an expanding production team as the organisation increase their production quantities and the complexity of their products. You will help to ensure products are built to a high standard and are meeting product specifications.
You will be responsible for the product testing according to test instruction, for recording test results and maintaining Quality Check Points in the ERP system. You will continue the improvement of test setup and test procedures and look after the maintenance of test equipment and jigs. You will support manufacturing as required and the creation of test plans.
The position will report primarily to the Team Lead Manufacturing and will work closely with the Production Team, members of the Operations Team and the NPI Team. This role will suit someone with excellent attention to detail and a passion for technology who wants to develop their career in a fast moving organisation.
What you'll need to succeed
Relevant experience within a production environment
Eligibility for Defence Clearances Experience with Odoo or similar ERP systems is desirable
Experience of test equipment such as VNA, Spectrum analyser and signal generator
Ability to work in a fat paced team, as well as autonomously
Strong ability to multi-task and meet deadlines under pressure
