We are looking for a full-time Assistant Banquets Operations Manager to join our team at Sofitel Sydney Wentworth!
Reporting to the Conference & Events Operations Manager, the key responsibilities include:
- Supervise function room set-ups and servicing according to specifications of function event orders, including setup and pack down
- Being "Guest obsessed" while providing support and presence on the front of house areas to ensure the smooth operation of the Department & quality service is provided
- Ensure our food & beverage service standards are met, achieving a consistently high level of service to all guests
- Maintain hygienic food service techniques during service and promote a safe workplace
- Communicate with kitchen on timing of meal requirements
- Supervise a team of Food & Beverage Attendants, including coaching and performance management
