About the team
The Asset Engineering team, based within the Infrastructure Lifecycle Planning and Performance branch is responsible for the lifecycle asset management of the water and sewerage network assets. We are key stakeholders with all aspects of asset lifecycle and work closely with network Planning, Civil and Planned Maintenance, Operations and Project Delivery to ensure cost effective service continuity for the community.
About your new role
As a Senior Asset Engineering Officer, you will be responsible for assessing water and sewerage network assets performance. Using risk analysis to develop plans for maintenance, condition assessment and renewals. All expenditure requires robust justification and strong value statements. Key activities include:
Lead and support - Provide engineering technical advice and guidance to the asset engineers, broader business stakeholders and the management team. This role requires implementation and support of strategic vision.
