Position Available: Automotive Electricians

About Us:
Buslines Group is the largest rural and regional bus operator in NSW, operating thirteen depots with a fleet of over 380 buses. Northern Rivers Buslines manages a modern fleet of 105 buses in Lismore, Casino, and surrounding areas.
Position Details:
• Title: Automotive Electricians
• Type: Full Time (38 hours per week)
• Salary: $35.43 per hour
• Start Date: July 2024
Role Responsibilities:
• Using test equipment to locate electrical and electronic malfunctions
• Dismantling and removing electrical and electronic assemblies and components
• Installing electrical equipment and electronic components in motor vehicles
• Connecting power-operated vehicle equipment and accessories to power supply
• Adjusting engine control systems and timing
• Testing and replacing defective alternators, generators, voltage regulators and starter motors
• Repairing and replacing faulty ignition and electrical wiring
• Replacing defective parts such as fuses, lamps and switches
Qualifications and Experience:
• Relevant trade qualifications (essential)
• AQF Certificate III including at least two years of on-the-job training, or AQF Certificate IV (ANZSCO Skill Level 3) (essential)
• Experience in the service and maintenance of vehicles (training provided to develop these skills)
• Ensure adherence to safety standards and company policies
• Sound level of verbal and written communication
• Experience in working in a team environment on daily maintenance and repair schedules
• Be proactive with a drive to finding better ways to continuously improve and be adaptable in a dynamic and growing team
