Role:
As an Electrical Engineering Technician, you will be integral in supporting the design, installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems for industrial and commercial projects. You will work closely with our highly qualified team to ensure compliance, safety, and efficiency in all our operations.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist in the preparation of detailed drawings and plans for electrical installations and systems using industry-standard software.
• Support the installation, maintenance, and repair of high and low voltage electrical systems, ensuring adherence to safety standards and regulations.
• Participate in the commissioning and testing of electrical systems, preparing compliance reports and ensuring all installations meet client specifications and regulatory requirements.
• Prepare cost estimates and tender documents, liaise with suppliers and subcontractors, and ensure projects are completed within budget.
• Work collaboratively with project teams, providing technical support and expertise throughout the project lifecycle.
• Assist in the repair and calibration of electrical equipment, utilizing our NATA accredited facilities.
• Maintain strong relationships with clients, providing regular updates and recommendations to optimize project outcomes.
Qualifications and Experience:
• Relevant Tertiary Qualification or equivalent industry experience in electrical design, installation, and maintenance, preferably in industrial and commercial settings.
• Strong knowledge of high and low voltage electrical systems and associated civil works.
• Proficiency in using electrical design software and tools.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
