ABOUT THE ROLE:
The Project Officer plays an active and vital role in the coordination and delivery of a regionally based native title service to Traditional Owners throughout the Kimberley. This position works closely with other KLC units and Traditional Owner groups especially in relation to post determination support, compliance and advancement.
The position operates out of Broome KLC office with occasional travel in the Kimberley.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Projects
Work in consultation with the Region and Unit managers and KLC legal practitioners to manage and progress native title determination applications, Registered Native Body Corporate (RNTBC) activities and related projects
Develop project work plans and budgets for native title determination applications and related projects including RNTBC projects.
Manage, monitor and report on the implementation and progress of work plans and budgets.
