KEY QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
A minimum 3 years’ experience in a similar position such as Talent Acquisition Specialist or Recruitment Consultant in an agency environment.
Formal qualifications in HR related discipline advantageous
Experience with bulk recruitment - Managing 30+ roles (and all associated tasks) at any given time.
Demonstrated experience with key tools such as Seek Talent Search, LinkedIn Recruiter and Indeed Resume Search.
Experience with building and managing candidate pools for a variety of roles.
Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to connect and partner with multiple stakeholders: hiring managers, candidates and other key internal and external stakeholders.
Strong negotiation skills and a highly strategic, commercial mindset.
Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Understand Staffing Needs: Collaborate with early childhood education services and programs to comprehend their staffing requirements, including educators, administrators and support staff.
Develop Recruitment Strategies: Create tailored recruitment plans to attract qualified candidates for various roles within early childhood education.
Source Candidates: Utilise diverse channels such as job boards, social media, educational institutions and professional networks to actively source potential candidates with backgrounds in early childhood education.
Facilitate Hiring Process: Coordinate and manage the recruitment process from job posting and application review to scheduling interviews, reference and background checks ensuring a smooth and efficient hiring experience.
Build Talent Pipelines: Maintain relationships with potential candidates and cultivate talent pipelines for future hiring needs, proactively engaging with individuals interested in pursuing careers in early childhood education.
Partner with Stakeholders: Collaborate closely with hiring managers and other stakeholders to understand their staffing priorities and provide guidance and support throughout the recruitment process.
Ensure Compliance: Stay updated on relevant regulations and standards in early childhood education recruitment, ensuring compliance with legal requirements and industry best practices.
Provide Support and Guidance: Offer support and guidance to hiring managers and other stakeholders.
