Luxury boutique hotel and Dining Room, Raes on Wategos in Byron Bay, is seeking a qualified and professional Event Manager to join our incredibly skilled Food and Beverage.

The individual must have the following:
Knowledge and expertise within the following areas:
A minimum of 3 years full time experience in a similar high end establishments and high volume international luxury hotels
Proven experience in managing all aspects of events and leading service
Experience in promoting events of all types, inclusive of bespoke conferences
Flexibility necessary to work on days, nights and weekends
A passion for excellent guest service
Confidence with time management
Comfortable being autonomous but also a team player and being supportive to all colleagues
Main Responsiblities:
Collaborate with the Head Chefs and Food and Beverage Managers to develop creative and distinctive experiences.
Respond to all enquiries concerning costs, catering and other services provided.
Meeting with clients to discuss event details.
Control event, equipment hire and labour costs.
Contribute to brainstorming sessions and discuss innovative event ideas.
Maintain the highest standards of service and presentation.
Develop service procedures and timings alongside the Food and Beverage team
Assist the Food and Beverage Manager and Event Managers in the recruitment, induction, and training of staff.
