Location: Northern Beaches, Inner West & Central Coast
About Us: At TuCasa Constructions, we take pride in our craftsmanship and deliver beautiful renovations and extensions to our values clients. We are currently seeking an experienced, mature carpenter to join our dynamic team and contribute to a variety of exciting projects.
Position: Experienced Carpenter
Job Description: As an experienced carpenter, you will be responsible for:
• Constructing, installing, and repairing structures and fixtures made of wood, plywood, and plasterboard.
• Interpreting and reading blueprints, drawings, and sketches to fully grasp requirements.
• Taking measurements and calculating the size and amount of material needed.
• Cutting, shaping, and smoothing lumber and other material according to measurements.
• Building window frames, doors, staircases, and frame buildings by using raw materials or pre-constructed items.
• Laying out flooring, roofing etc ensuring they are levelled and compatible.
• Inspecting places and conducting repairs or maintenance.
Requirements:
• Proven experience as a carpenter with a strong portfolio of previous projects.
• Hands-on experience in working with carpentry materials.
• Excellent understanding of carpentry techniques and methods of installation and construction.
• Proficient in using electrical and manual equipment and measurement tools (powered saws, hammers, rulers, etc.)
• Ability to read technical documents and drawings.
• Willingness to follow safety guidelines at all times.
• Good physical condition and endurance.
• Successful completion of Cert III in carpentry or equivalent & completion of HSC or equivalent preferred.
. Knowledge and experience across other trades such as plastering, tiling etc
• At least 5 years fulltime experience as a qualified carpenter
