About Your New Role Our client is seeking and experienced Mechanical Fitter with knowledge of fixed plant equipment such as pumps, blowers & conveyors. You will play a crucial role in the assembly and repair of fixed plant equipment ensuring they meet high-quality standards. Duties and Responsibilities
Disassemble, clean, inspect and measure pumps, mechanical seals, valves, and other equipment
Assemble, measure, record and test pumps, mechanical seals, valves, and other equipment
Assemble new or overhauled equipment as per specifications
Modify and/or machining of components and equipment
Assembling machined components
Assembly of close coupled pumps, gearboxes
