The Procurement Specialist is part of our Procurement team who are responsible for the sourcing of goods and services, across nominated categories within the business Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical and Indirects. This role will support the Category Manager and wider Procurement team and will be based at our Military Vehicle Centre of Excellence (MILVEHCOE) facility in Redbank.
As a Procurement Specialist, you can anticipate some of your day-to-day tasks to include:
The management of quotes, tenders, purchase requisitions; orders and securing goods and services that deliver the best overall commercial value;
Strategic sourcing; negotiation of pricing and other commercial arrangements with suppliers;
Supplier Relationship Management; performance reporting, reviews and materials management;
Actively drive cost reductions and increase value for money while championing opportunities for improvement;
Contribute to the development, implementation and continued improvement of procurement related working instructions and guidelines;
