Your new company Our client is a global competitor within the Defence Industry and they are currently seeking a Production Planner to join their team on a permanent basis. Located in Western Sydney they support naval platforms within Defence and their technical services; this role will sit within a manufacturing setting. Your new role
As Production Planner you will be joining their Production Team and supporting the industrial centre of competence on a continuous production environment.
Organise production/ repair activities
Coordinate supplier orders to meet demand - LEAN focus
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including procurement, PMs, logistics and production management to ensure timely delivery of products
Continuous improvement
What you'll need to succeed
Be able to obtain Defence NV1 clearances
Experience in Supply Chain Planning (Supply/ Demand/ Production)
Proficient in using industrial information systems (ERP/ MRP/ PLM)
Oracle / SAP experience is highly advantageous
Knowledge of manufacturing/ repair processes on continuous MTO environment
Strong problem-solving skills and focus on customer needs with LEAN exposure
