Mechanical Supervisor - Field Service

Our client is a global market leader for measuring and process technology solutions, with a local specialization into vibrating screens at CHPP's. Their service division is rapidly expanding due to unprecedented growth across Australian industry. As a result, we are looking for a Mechanical Field Service Supervisor based at their Newcastle workshop.

What's involved?

A mixture of work on the tools and operational / supervisor duties
Hands on; OEM mechanical maintenance, inspections and repairs on vibrating screens on customer CHPP's and mine sites
Supervisory duties; prestarts and safety interactions, quality control and safety implementation and documentation, client interactions, labor and parts allocation, service reporting
Regular travel to and from local customer sites, plus workshop work
Work away from home on average 2 nights per week
Occasional weekend and interstate work, a few times per year
Work as a team for safe execution of all maintenance under OH&S management systems


What are we looking for?

Mechanical Trade Qualification
Preferred experience on vibrating screens
Preferred supervision experience in a fixed plant mining environment
MR Licence highly regarded but not essential
Able to pass coal board medical order 43 and police check
A can do attitude and proactivity to execute projects
Excellent work references that can support your application


What we can offer you:

Full time, permanent opportunity
$130K Salary + Super
Fully maintained service vehicle + fuel to take home
Overtime applied after 38 approved hours - $67.76 / hour
Rotating 4 day roster: Monday - Thursday & Tuesday - Friday - 4 day weekend every fortnight
Starting site allowance $88 per day, increasing every 6 months
Site allowance after 2 years $198 per day
Paid travel, accommodation and meals
