The Opportunity

We're seeking a versatile and detail-oriented Accountant to join our Finance team on a permanent basis. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled professional looking to apply their knowledge and expertise in a fast-paced and collaborative environment.  

The successful candidate will play a crucial role in assisting with various financial tasks, including end-of-month procedures, Xero bank account reconciliations, monthly payroll preparation, data analysis on large data sets and preparing financial reports & visualisations for various stakeholders. 

The Ideal Candidate

Experienced: Has some experience in accounting or a related field, demonstrating proficiency in financial analysis and reporting.

Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related field. 

Meticulous: Maintains exceptional attention to detail, crucial for accurate financial documentation and reporting.

Collaborative: Enjoys partnering with other team members and different departments to enhance financial practices and insights.

Organised: Manages a diverse set of responsibilities efficiently, consistently meeting deadlines for tasks such as month-end closures and Xero reconciliations.

Proficient: Proficiency in Google Sheets and Xero is desired. Ideally has experience with Business Intelligence tools such as Tableau (or a willingness to learn).

Adaptable: Easily adjusts to new systems and changes in processes, maintaining effectiveness under evolving business needs.

Tech savvy: You will be using our innovative in-house technology as well as market leading software to process a large variety of transactions and prepare critical data analysis.
