MACA Ltd continues to grow its portfolio of projects with the many recent awards of open pit mining services based all around WA and with future expansion, this is an opportunity to secure a long-term role and grow with our business. 2022 has only just begun and our list of long-term projects just keeps growing!
Due to our record growth, we are seeking an experienced Auto Electricians to join our business across a number of our sites. MACA are offering a suite of equipment across all sites, providing you with the opportunity to further develop your skillset. We are offering a mix of 2:1 and 2:2 rosters with FIFO, DIDO and BIBO options from Perth and selected regional townsites.
Your expertise in the areas of fault finding, diagnostic and repairs will be highly sought after and utilised in our sites workshops. In addition to the repair and maintenance of mobile plant and equipment on site you will be required to:
Perform routine maintenance in line with manufacturers and management requirements.
Diagnosing, repairing and overhauling plant and equipment including but not limited to trucks, drill rigs and generators.
Maintaining, diagnosing and repairing hydraulic components.
Dismantling, repairing and reassembling engines, transmissions, steering columns and other components.
Diagnosing and repairing heavy vehicle fuel systems.
Testing repaired parts for proper performance.
Using computers and specialised tools to diagnose and repair faults.
Inspecting vehicles and machinery for faults.
To be considered for these opportunities, we require successful applicants to have:
Minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar position
A current and valid Refrigeration Handling Licence or Air Conditioning ticket
Experience working on CAT, Komatsu. Hitachi or Toyota highly advantageous
Highly motivated and the ability to work independently.
Have a “Can Do” attitude to safety.
Current WA drivers’ licence
