JOB SUMMARY
Tiny Legends Brighton is looking for a professional, dedicated and passionate Educator to join our team at our combined Long Day Care Centre/Kindergarten.
The Position – EDUCATOR
As a permanent Educator (Monday-Friday) at Tiny Legends, Brighton, you will be responsible for supporting your Lead Educator in delivering a child focussed, high quality, fun and exciting program for the children in your classroom. You should understand the importance that free flowing indoor/outdoor play has in the Early Years and strive to support this ideology. The position involves supporting children and support your Lead Educator as well as the entire team. You will be required to contribute to relevant documentation such as the daily learning journal, observations and anything else required of you.
The successful applicant must:
have a passion for working with children, genuinely wanting to give them the best start to life through play based education and a desire to have a positive impact on their lives and their future.
have a passion for establishing and maintaining positive relationships with families and the wider community.
have a current positive working with children check.
have current first aid/cpr/anaphylaxis/asthma.
have completed or working towards completing a Certificate III in Children’s Services.
have an understanding of the National Law & Regulations and the National Quality Framework.
have an understanding of the Early Years Learning Framework
have a strong level of professionalism and an understanding of professional boundaries.
have a strong desire to continually improve and strive for Excellence (as an individual and as a team)
have sound professional written and verbal communication skills
