As a growing company, we are continuing to add more clinicians to our multidisciplinary team providing supports to NDIS participants living in the south west Sydney region and are looking to expand our team into a new clinic based in Prestons.
We would welcome an early career Occupational Therapist looking to make a meaningful and rewarding impact in their local community.
We empower participants by:
- Using a strengths-based approach to guide our assessment, goals and ultimately our intervention
- We use a combination of standardised and non-standardised assessments, curated to the participants' needs to guide our clinical reasoning
- Exploring and navigating complex cases, engaging in 1:1 supervision as well as team and national based in-services are just some of the ways you can expect to be supported
Responsibilities will include:
- Managing an allocated caseload and complete therapeutic services in a timely manner
- Assessing participants emotional, psychological, cognitive, developmental and physical level of function and capacity through clinical observations and standardised assessments
- Interpreting findings to formulate treatment goals unique to each participant
- Provide therapeutic interventions that are evidence-based and help participants get more out of life
