Construction Project Manager

Duties:

1. Project Planning: Develop comprehensive project plans outlining timelines, budgets, resource allocation, and milestones.

2. Coordination: Coordinating activities among various teams involved in the project, ensuring alignment with project goals and objectives.

3. Budget Management: Monitoring project finances, including cost estimation, budgeting, and tracking expenses to ensure projects stay within budget constraints.

4. Resource Management: Allocating resources efficiently, including labor, materials, and equipment, to optimize productivity and minimize delays.

5. Risk Management: Identifying potential risks and implementing strategies to mitigate them, such as contingency plans for unforeseen circumstances or issues that may arise during construction.

6. Quality Control: Ensuring that construction activities meet quality standards and regulatory requirements through regular inspections and adherence to specifications.

7. Communication: Facilitating effective communication among project stakeholders through meetings, progress reports, and updates to ensure everyone is informed and aligned throughout the project lifecycle.

8. Problem Solving: Addressing challenges and resolving conflicts that may arise during construction, such as design changes, scheduling conflicts, or unexpected site conditions.

9. Safety Compliance: Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations to maintain a safe working environment for all personnel involved in the project.

10. Client Relations: Building and maintaining positive relationships with clients by addressing their concerns, providing regular updates on project progress, and ensuring their satisfaction with the final deliverables.

Qualifications and experience

Bachelor's degree in construction management, civil engineering, architecture, or related field.

3 to 5 years of experience in construction management or a related role.

Familiarity with relevant regulations and codes.

Previous experience with construction management software is advantageous.

Skills/Capabilities

Strong leadership abilities, including the capacity to motivate and manage teams effectively.

Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for interaction with stakeholders.

Exceptional organizational skills to manage multiple tasks, priorities, and deadlines.

Proficiency in problem-solving, with the ability to identify and resolve challenges efficiently.

Attention to detail to ensure quality and compliance with specifications.

Technical proficiency in project management software and relevant technologies.
