BUDGET POLICY TEAMS Our Budget Policy teams are called Agency Advice Units (AAUs). They are at the forefront of the budget process, supporting budget and funding proposals for agencies and entities across the Federal Government. This exciting and high-profile work contributes directly to Government decision making. Assistant Directors help lead our AAUs, which are grouped into Branches and Divisions, each providing policy advice and financial analysis to specific portfolios.
