ABOUT BUDGET POLICY OFFICERS Our Budget Policy Officers are at the forefront of the budget process, supporting budget and funding proposals for agencies and entities across the Federal Government. This exciting and high-profile work contributes directly to Government decision making. Budget Policy Officers work in our Agency Advice Units (AAUs), which are grouped into Branches and Divisions, each providing policy advice and financial analysis to specific portfolios.
