Molly's Irish Pub is an independently owned and operated venue with a commitment to exceptional customer service and community values. Situated in the heart of Highgate, Molly's is one of the newest additions to Beaufort Street's vibrant bar and restaurant precinct.
When it comes to our menu there's plenty to choose from. Savour the taste of authentic pub classics, daily chef specials and locally sourced ingredients packed with flavour.

The Role:
We're on the hunt for a hardworking and passionate Sous Chef to lead our kitchen team.
We're looking for applicants with the following experience:
- 3+ years' experience in a similar role
- Ability to multitask and prioritise in a fast-paced environment
- Effective problem-solving and conflict-resolution skills
- Availability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends and holidays
- Able to understand direction and work autonomously
- Understanding of Irish/British cuisine is preferred but not necessary
- Self-motivated with a can-do attitude
Responsibilities will include:
- Reporting directly to the Head Chef
- Preparing & Cooking food to a high standard
- Ensuring Quality & Consistency of all dishes
- Menu and recipe design and implementation
- Ordering & Stock control
- Rostering
- Daily reporting
- Dealing with suppliers
- Staff performance appraisals & Training
- Enforcing to the necessary food preparation and hygiene regulations

This is a full time opportunity working 38 - 42 hours per week, and remuneration between $70,000 and $80,000, depending on skills and experience, will be negotiated with the successful candidate.
