Due to growing demand our client is seeking Diesel Fitter/-Diesel Mechanic Technicians to join there hard working and dedicated team. As a Diesel Fitter- Mechanic Technician, you will be responsible for all aspects of mechanical repair. Your role would include and not be limited to the following duties: * Diagnosing, repairing, fitting and overhauling diesel engines and plant equipment. * Maintaining, diagnosing, repairing and fitting hydraulic components of dieselpowered attachments such as pumps and injectors. * Dismantling, repairing and reassembling engines, transmissions, steering columns and other components. * Using oxy, electric, TIG and MIG welding techniques to fit, replace, assemble and repair metal parts including fabrication of parts, machinery and other equipment. * Diagnosing and repairing heavy vehicle fuel injections systems. * Testing repaired parts for proper performance. * Testing and repairing basic electrical circuits. * Using computers and specialized tools to diagnose and repair faults. * Inspecting ...
