We are looking for a suitably qualified Landfill & Machinery Operator to join the team. You will be responsible for carrying out the operational and administrative duties relating to the operations of the Jackson Street Waste Management Centre (JSWMC) and a range of other activities associated with the operation of the site.
The successful applicant will have:
Demonstrated experience operating heavy machinery at a landfill site or similar work environment.
Ability to operate machinery in a way that promotes 'best practise' waste disposal and waste minimisation.
Experience and knowledge on landfill and recycling operations.
Qualifications required:
Current Drivers Licence
HR and plant operators licence/certification
Traffic Control accreditation
Chemical handling certification
Controlled waste (asbestos) handling certification.
Position Hours: Full-Time, 76 hours fortnight.
Salary range: $64,500.94 to $67,889.70 plus superannuation
