You'll need to be able to demonstrate knowledge in:
Basic IT Principles across Network, Server, and Desktop environments
Knowledge of Microsoft operating systems (Windows 2016 R2, 2012 R2, 2008 R2 Windows 7, 8 & 10)
Knowledge of Microsoft 365 and other Microsoft cloud services.
Knowledge of Microsoft 365 SharePoint Online.
Knowledge of Microsoft Azure Active Directory is a plus
Knowledge or experience of the following technologies will be required DNS, Email (SMTP/IMAP/POP)
Basic understanding of Network router, switch, firewall (DHCP, DNS, VLANS, Switching, Wi-Fi)
Knowledge or experience with VoIP service, IP PBX or Hosted PBX is a plus
Troubleshoot in a timely manner
As part of this role, some of your responsibilities will include:
Installing and configuring computer hardware, software, systems, networks, printers, and scanners
Monitoring and maintaining computer systems and networks
Responding in a timely manner to service issues and requests
Support and maintains point of sale (POS) and related devices, like POS printers, scanners, EFTPOS terminals
Providing technical support to our clients and our own company (this may be in person or over the phone)
Setting up accounts for new users in cloud-based platforms such as Microsoft 365
Repairing and replacing equipment as necessary
Testing new technology
Taking ownership of incidents/problems; actioning and updating logged tickets and ensuring escalation paths are followed.
Keeping up to date with new technologies, systems and assisting with evaluations.
Undertaking small- to medium-sized IT projects as instructed by the Senior Network Administrator
