Victoria Diagnostic Imaging provides comprehensive Radiology services in Victoria. Company offers X-ray, Ultrasound, CT scan and BMD (DEXA) at Carrum Downs and Hampton Park clinics.
They seek multiple experienced Songraphers to join their highly skilled and dynamic team.
The Role
This is for a full-time role with an annual salary at $80,000 -$90000 plus superannuation depending on the experience and will be based in their Carrum Downs and Hampton Park clinics.
Responsibilities
Operate ultrasound equipment efficiently to capture clear and accurate images for diagnostic purposes.
Explain the ultrasound procedure to patients, addressing any questions or concerns to ensure comfort and informed consent.
Adjust ultrasound device settings based on specific diagnostic needs and patient conditions for optimal image quality.
Ensure all patient data and images are accurately recorded and stored in compliance with privacy regulations.
Regularly check and maintain ultrasound equipment to ensure it is in good working condition.
Adhere to safety guidelines to minimize risks associated with exposure to ultrasound and ensure a safe environment.
Modify scanning techniques based on patient needs and specific areas of focus.
Requirements
Post Graduate Diploma or Bachelor Degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a closely related field
Hold relevant qualifications in medical ultrasound accredited by Australian Sonographer Accreditation Registry (ASAR)
At least 3 years of ultrasound experience in general, pregnancy, musculoskeletal, paediatric and doppler studies.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively and a patient focused approach
