The Role
We are seeking a Procurement Officer to join our dedicated team on the Albury to Illabo section of the Inland Rail Albury to Parkes Enhancement Project. As a crucial team member, you will play a pivotal role in shaping our procurement strategies, optimising costs, and ensuring seamless supply operations.
Responsibilities:
Monitoring of procurement mailboxes and responding to daily queries.
Maintain meticulous and consistent filing practices and keeping procurement folder updated.
Setting up suppliers in the system, and liaising with Area leads (quality, safety, enviro, HR etc) for completion of the evaluation process.
Getting quotations from the market and raising Purchase Orders in accordance with Martinus procedures.
Issuing Purchase Orders (PO) to the relevant suppliers and coordinate delivery.
Maintaining and issues of basic stock materials
