This is an exciting time to join NRW Holdings as we are now seeking an ambitious and innovative Purchasing Officer to join our highly skilled Procurement & Logistics team at our head office in Belmont. This is a permanent full time position reporting to the Supply Chain Superintendent. This role will see you execute the procurement of goods and services in a timely and cost-efficient manner, while complying with company policies and procedures.
As a Purchasing Officer, you will be responsible for:
Processing purchase requisitions in accordance with established procedures in a timely and cost-effective manner
Monitoring and following up purchase orders to ensure that on time delivery is met
Prioritising tasks to ensure optimal customer service is provided at all times
Identifying opportunities for cost savings
