Role
The animal welfare and biosecurity manager will be responsible for overseeing and implementing animal welfare and biosecurity practices within the business at all operational levels to ensure the health and wellbeing of our livestock and prevent the spread of diseases.
Key responsibilities
Develop, implement, and monitor animal welfare policies and procedures in accordance with industry standards and regulations
Management, plan and conduct regular inspections and audits of animal welfare practices across all poultry facilities to identify areas for improvement and ensure compliance
Design and implement biosecurity standards, policies and procedures to safeguard poultry from diseases and external threats
Collaborate with the Livestock General Manager, Chief Operations Manager
