We are hiring for the Head of Economic Research at the Reserve Bank of Australia.
Economic Research plays a crucial role in building the RBA and the RBA Board?s understanding of the economy, the impact of monetary policy on economic outcomes and how these change over time. The Head of Research must inspire, guide, and enable a team of people to define and deliver outcomes that enhance understanding and ultimately enable better monetary policy decisions, in a way that is consistent with the RBA?s strategic priorities.
Role Objectives
Oversee and contribute to the effective performance of the RBA and delivery of the RBA?s strategic priorities through leadership of the Economic Research department and contributing to RBA-wide strategic initiatives.
Motivate, foster, and inspire a culture aligned to the RBA?s values, enabling an environment for high levels of staff engagement and performance.
