Powering EnergyAustralia to make better data driven decisions towards a greener energy future
Reporting to the Data Product Leader Trading, Generation & Corporate, the Data Engineering Leader will be responsible for the support and uplift of the data platform, leading the technical delivery of data engineering solutions and ensuring the code quality and standards are of a high standard, along with balancing the incoming work. Additional responsibilities include:
Lead the Data Engineering DevSecOps team, coaching, mentoring and uplifting capabilities
Manage backlog of new work
Work with the Software Engineering team to design and develop patterns for appropriate data ingestion and interfacing mechanisms such as consumption layer databases, APIs and caches.
Drive the data solution designs and architecture, working with the Data Design Lead and solution architects to continually mature and evolve the data landscape.
