Our client who excels in advanced mobility and motion technology is currently offering an opportunity for a talented and highly organised Material Planner to join a well established and innovative Adelaide company that supplies products and solutions to both Defence and non Defence companies.
This is a permanent F/T role based in Adelaide SA
Your new role:
As a Material Planner you will:
Manage the flow of material and Products ensuring timely production and delivery
Plan and Schedule Production Activities
Oversee stocks and shipments to ensure smooth supply chain operations
Order all raw material and manage procurement in collaboration with the Procurement team
Oversee production control and Maintenance Planning
Communicate with customers regarding orders providing updates and resolution of any issues as required
Develop and implement and inventory management system
Oversee the entire supply chain operation from procurement to delivery
Identify and resolve supply chain issues and implement corrective actions
About you
As an ideal applicant for this opportunity, you'll have:
A degree in Supply Chain Management , Business or related field
At least 3 years experience in material planning and supply chain management
Experience with ERP software or other supply chain management systems
Excellent written and communication skills for collaboration with all stakeholders
Strong analytical and problem solving skills
Experience in inventory management and control
