About the Opportunity
Were looking for a reliable, enthusiastic, and motivated apprentice to join our SERCO team at Clarence Correctional Centre. Reporting to the Plumbing Supervisor, the key purpose of the Apprentice Plumber is to develop the knowledge and skills to undertake response and rectification maintenance works to achieve a high standard of performance within the Centre.
What youll be doing
Provide a day-to-day response to identified failures.
Assist with necessary repairs to hydraulic services and fire protection.
Undertake allocated minor projects as necessary.
Keep records of assignments and produce detailed work reports.
Complete safety checks on plant, equipment, and hand tools.
Safely complete all works including the use of tools and that a safety first attitude is adopted.
