The primary purpose of the role is to supervise teams and provide a high level of service in the maintenance, construction and repair of water, sewer and drainage infrastructure in line with Councils delivery and operational plans.
Key Accountabilities:
Lead the construction and maintenance teams to ensure outstanding performance is achieved in relation to health and safety, environment, quality, people management, stakeholder management, productivity and commercial and community outcomes
Plan, program and prepare project documentation and deliver key water and sewer infrastructure construction and maintenance projects to a consistently high standard through the application of sound project management skills
Manage budgets and ongoing expenditure whilst maximising utilisation of resources and initiating and encouraging innovative work practices and procedures
Provide written documentation on work related matters, manage up and communicate effectively
