Guma-Warnii Resources have an exciting position available in our Tier One client's Mine Technical Services team. We are currently recruiting for an experienced Development Mining Engineer to work an 8/6 roster, FIFO Perth to the Pilbara region of Western Australia. The Development Mining Engineer is responsible for designing, scheduling and issuing work instructions for the completion of all mine development tasks required to support the weekly mine plan. This includes but is not limited to road design, land clearing, slope excavation design and drill area clean up. This role requires experience in basic mine design principals, the ability to interpret a mine plan and excellent communication skills. The successful candidate will have capability using software packages such as Maptek Vulcan to complete designs and experience in an open cut mining operation.
