Our client is currently offering an opportunity for an experienced Process Engineer to join a well established and innovative Adelaide company who excel in advanced mobility and motion technology. They are a well respected supplier to both Defence and Non Defence Clients
This is a permanent F/T role based in Adelaide SA
Your new role:
As a Process Engineer you will:

Lead and Manage the Process engineering team
Innovate and refine production processes to optimise workflow and increase efficiency
Create and manage a list of process equipment and tooling in collaboration with external suppliers
Maintain documentation including PFMEA, Work Instructions and Standard Work procedures to ensure consistency and compliance
Identify process improvements and drive lean manufacturing principles to achieve efficiency
Coordinate packaging requirements and logistics planning for both suppliers and customers
Ensure that all process tooling and suppliers comply with OHS standards throughout the supply chain
Coordinate preventative maintenance programs to ensure reliability of equipment

About you
As an ideal applicant for this opportunity, you'll have:

A degree in Mechanical/Maintenance engineering or related field
A minimum of 3 years experience in process engineering particularly in designing and development production processes
Experience with continuous improvement methodologies and lean manufacturing principles
Excellent written, interpersonal and communication skills
Strong analytical and problem solving skills
Experience in Automotive production would be highly advantageous
