CNC PROGRAMMER/MACHINIST

The 2 positions available, one for a CNC Machinist and one for a Tool Maker, are for an immediate start. This will be a permanent full-time position and may require some overtime work when required.

Qualified CNC Operator

The CNC Operator must demonstrate their experience in programming and operating 3 & 4 axis mills and lathes. The CNC applicant requires more than 5 years’ experience in operating/programming CNC machines, and will be well-versed in setting-up, programming (using Mastercam software, or similar), and operating CNC Milling machines with Fanuc controls.

Skill/Experience requirements:

· Experience in the interpretation of engineering drawings and accurate tool selections for jobs

· Measure and check the accuracy of machined parts to the tolerances as specified

· Experience in using MasterCam software

· Experience in CNC turning will be an added advantage

· Overhead gantry crane training

· ISO 9001 quality systems knowledge is an advantage

· Proficient in using measurement tools and gauges

· Ability to work independently and as part of a team

· Co-operate with all health and safety policies and procedures of the Company

· Motivated positive attitude

Qualified Tool Maker

The Tool Maker applicant must have a minimum of 3 years’ experience, demonstrate knowledge and ability to work with engineering drawing, manufacture components for moulds, press tools, Jigs and Fixtures and assemble them. Ability to work on all conventional machines within the workplace.

Skill/Experience requirements:

· Experience in the interpretation of engineering drawings

· Knowledge to manufacture, provide maintenance and repair moulds, press tools, jigs and fixtures at the required standard and conduct quality control checks

· Measure and check the accuracy of machined parts to the tolerances as specified

· Overhead gantry crane training is an advantage

· Ability to work on all conventional machines on the shop floor, which include: lathe, milling, surface grinding and tool and cutter grinding

· Ability to work independently and as part of a team

· Co-operate with all health and safety policies and procedures of the Company

· Motivated positive attitude



Overall Remuneration (based on experience)

$75,000-$85,000aud
