We’re seeking a passionate and skilled Senior UniVerse Developer to join our dynamic team and help us shape the future of banking technology. As a key contributor, you’ll play a pivotal role in enhancing and maintaining our core banking system.
Responsibilities for the role include:
Create, extend and support business-specific UniVerse software programs that facilitate delivering Indue’s transactional payments processing and settlement services.
Understand and implement software enhancements to solve business problems in a highly secure Payments focused environment.
Design, implement, and test software designs using the UniVerse platform in an agile scrum team and maintain appropriate documentation.
Participate in an after-hours on-call roster to support business critical functions.
About You
You will have all or majority of the following skills and attributes:
At least 5 years’ experience with UniVerse coding in the UniBASIC language.
A minimum of 5 years’ experience in a similar development role.
Proven ability in designing, implementing and testing software designs within the UniVerse Platform.
Knowledge and understanding of agile software development methodologies and the complete Software Development Life Cycle.
Demonstrated ability to effectively elicit, interpret and translate processes and system information from stakeholders into complex technical solutions.
A collaborative, team player who meets deadlines with quality outputs.
The following experience will be highly desirable:
Previous experience using Design Bais.
Experience with Python scripting.
Previous experience in the Banking or Financial Services industry.
Previous experience with Financial systems.
