Task & Responsibilities Installing windows, balustrades, shower screens, pool fences, robe doors, mirrors and splashbacks on both commercial and domestic sites. Determining type and dimensions of glass required. Measuring and marking glass for cutting. Examining glass and marking defective areas. Cutting along patterns and templates. Breaking off sheets and excess glass with notched tools and glass pliers. Smoothing edges using sanders and smoothing wheels. Using silicone seal and putty reglazing. Qualification & Experience The ideal candidates for these opportunities will have: AQF Certificate II including at least two years of on-the-job training OR AQF Certificate IV OR a minimum of three years recent and relevant experience. Experience in all responsibilities listed above. Ability and willingness to travel to various locations throughout the Gippsland region. Current Drivers’ License. Demonstrated strong commitment to excellence and quality. Well-developed communication and problem-solving skills. Ability to work effectively, respectfully and collegially in a team environment.
