Our client based in Dandenong specialise in the manufacture and supply food packaging throughout Australia & New Zealand for major food brands. They are currently seeking multiple Permanent Full-Time Production Machine Operators to join their ever-growing team. If you have experience as a Machine Operator this may be the role for you. They are currently offering multiple machine production operator positions - these roles will commence on Day Shift (6am - 2pm) and then after 2-3 months of training will transition to Afternoon Shift (2pm - 10pm). Key Responsibilities:

Operate production line, including efficient changeovers on all machinery
Maintain machines and equipment following Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
Manage product flow and organise production materials in staging
Conduct quality checks in compliance with the quality system
Complete production paperwork accurately and to specified standards
Ensure adherence to company policies and procedures
Operating the counter-balance forklift for loading & unloading product (if you have a license)
Troubleshoot and configure machines with technical problem-solving skills
Load raw materials (paper & cardboard) from staging areas to the production line
Maintain facilities cleanliness in accordance with GMP standards

Qualifications and Experience

Machine Operating with 12 months experience - packaging environment would be advantageous
Forklift License with 12 months minimum experience - this would be preferred
Victorian Drivers License
Sound knowledge of warehouse production activities
Ability to interpret a variety of instructions both written and oral
Ability to adhere to timeframes/deadlines
GMP/HACCP experience
Computer Skills on Microsoft skills would be desirable
