Production Officer needed for pharmaceutical company.
Involved in various aspects of production, processing medication packs, so may be involved in tray packing, trained to operate production machinery, robot packing.
Usually 8 hour shifts, no weekend work.
Monday to Friday, 6am to 2pm.
Working conditions in a controlled environment and dust free, must be wearing lab coats and hair nets.
No vaccination necessary.
Must pass a police check or willing to obtain one.
Ensure the production schedule is running as required and communicate any suggestions to the Production Manager for review.
Communicate production material requirements and product specifications.
Perform and monitor the process to create the product/s.
Document product and process customer requirements within the compliance guidelines of the organisation.
Perform basic preventative maintenance.
Prepare final product/s for quality review.
Perform general housekeeping duties to maintain a continuously safe and clean work environment.
Willing and able to maintain a strict adherence to safety rules and regulations, including wearing safety equipment.
Aid in the control of waste.
MUST have the following
1. Basic knowledge of production processes and quality control which will ensure the effective manufacture and distribution of goods.
2. Ability to work unsupervised or with minimal supervision.
3. Estimates and orders quantities of raw materials as instructed by Production Manager.
4. Excellent time management skills.
5. Ability to adapt to daily changing responsibilities.
6. Ability to develop process improvements to improve workflow efficiency.
7. Experience in inventory management and report status to the Production Manager.
8. Outstanding attention to detail.
9. Solid computer skills
