At Amunì Restaurant we prepare, seasons and cooks food in a dining or catering establishment.
We are looking for a full time (at least 38 hours per week) skilled Chef to perform the following duties:
Responsibilities
• Creating and planning specials and menus on regular basis;
• Monitoring and managing stock levels;
• Estimating food costs and managing the budget;
• Inspecting food preparation and serving areas to ensure observance of safe sanitary food handling practices;
• Hiring, training and managing kitchen staff;
• Discuss and solve food preparation issues with Managers, kitchen and waiting staff
• Monitoring the full process, from the preparation until the presentation of the food, observing and testing food to determine if it is cooked as needed;
• Make sure that sanitation, health, and safety standards are maintained in work areas.
Requirements
• The right candidate will have at least 2 years of experience
• A can-do attitude and ability of working independently.
Position: Full Time
Salary: $70,000 – 90,000 per year
