0%At FIS our technology powers the world’s economy and our teams bring innovation to life. As part of FIS Credit Card Solutions, this team works on the Payments One Cards (P1C) Product. Driven by customer requirements, get involved with support and incident management of the product.
The team provides overnight support which is performed on a rostered basis (approx. 1 week, every 5 weeks).
This role is fully remote, working from home.
What you will be doing:
Providing application software development services and technical support for production environment
Supporting the P1C Product running in Australia, North America and Latin America
Lead other developers by proving technical guidance and carry out team lead activities such as task assignment, monitor progress and follow up on issues
Incident investigation, resolution and follow up activities
Analyse problems and modify logic in existing application Programs and Jobs
Code, test, debug, document, implement and maintain the software application
Maintain, test and integrate application components
Make recommendations towards the development of new code or reuse of existing code
Ensure system improvements are successfully implemented
On call Support outside office hours on a Rostered basis
What you bring:
12+ year experience with the following:
COBOL, CICS and JCL
Desirable to also be skilled with:
Jira, REXX, Db2, CA Endevor, Tivoli Workload Scheduler, IBM Debug Tool and File Manager
Very Good communication skills (verbal and written)
Strong time management skills
A willingness to do overnight support on a rostered basis
Strong teamwork skills and problem-solving skills
Strong ability and willingness to learn
Be Process driven and have high attention to detail
A bonus if you have:
Experience with Credit Card Systems.
Experience with P1C Product (formerly BASE Global / BASE2000)
The ability to occasionally work flexible days. I.e. some weekend work
