The Role
Reporting to the Operations Manager (Mining East), your role as a Plant Inspector is part of our Mackay inspections team a team that is experiencing rapid growth. This role is key to upskilling our NDT Technicians through training and mentoring in inspection competencies. This role will be based in our Mackay office but will require travel to remote client sites in the Bowen Basin.
Key Responsibilities:
Performing in-service inspection of pressure equipment including boilers, pressure vessels, pressure piping, storage tanks and associated equipment as per the applicable code and client requirements;
Preparing inspection work scopes including any NDT required, review the equipment history and review all findings;
Preparing reports for the inspections performed on such equipment to the applicable code and client requirements;
