State Field Manager - Retail Sales

In partnership with Nespresso, we are seeking a natural leader with a passion for retail and sales to join our team as the VIC/SA State Field Manager.

As a VIC/SA Field Manager you will be responsible for developing and coaching a high performing sales team across your states. Your team will be located within Australia’s biggest retailers, where they will use their sales expertise to demonstrate Coffee Machines generating raving fans and converting customer engagements into sales.

Based in Melbourne, your time will be shared between our Melbourne CBD office and on the road with occasional travel to South Australia.

This is a full-time role with room to negotiate your set days. However, as our field team shifts fall over the weekend, it is a requirement that at least 1 working day per week must fall on a Saturday or Sunday.

Tasks and responsibilities:

  • The desire to drive and exceed sales targets.
  • Set goals and develop data driven strategies to deliver accelerated sales performance within your team
  • Analyse sales and performance data to develop and implement coaching plans.
  • Drive team engagement and develop team initiatives.
  • Recruit and induct new team members
  • Mentor and develop field team sales and customer experience skills
  • Create, develop and host team training and events
  • Team rostering and strategic shift planning
  • Host/lead planning and debrief sessions with client stakeholders.
  • Main point of contact for the field team.

  • You're organised, driven and take initiative.
  • You have a proven ability to deliver constructive feedback that fosters team engagement and productivity.
  • You're Tech savvy and comfortable working across multiple systems and platforms.
  • Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Office skills, particularly within PowerPoint and Excel. You must have, at a minimum, basic knowledge of lookup’s, pivot tables and data cleansing.
