ABOUT THE ROLE
Reporting to the orthodontists and working in conjunction with a wider team of dental professionals
you will be primarily responsible for:
o Pouring impressions by trimming and preparing gypsum models to produce
orthodontic study models and appliances
o 3D printing and digital design of orthodontic appliances, including aligners
o Construction of dental and orthodontic appliances utilising cutting edge
equipment and technology within our laboratory
o To ensure all the digital scans and models are stored properly and securely
o Work collaboratively with management to ensure work is completed on time.
Ensuring work is completed to an acceptable standard.
To be successful in this role you will have the following skills, experience, and qualifications:
? Certificate/ diploma in Dental Technology or similar;
? Minimum of 3 years of experience working as a dental
technician in Australia
? Scientific and clinical knowledge In Orthodontics
? A passion to learn and develop in the dental industry
? Strong English verbal communication skills
? Good hand-eye coordination to complete precise and detailed work; Able to
concentrate for long periods;
? Able to follow a process from start to finish.
? Ability to work autonomously and as a team to achieve team objectives;
? Excellent time management skills.
