Position: Retail Store manager for a Service station
Location: Karratha, WA
Responsibilities: Below are few but not limited to
(1)Leadership and Team management:
i) Lead and inspire a team of retail associates to achieve and exceed sales targets.
ii) Extensive leadership experience within big box/large format volume retailer
ii) Foster a positive and collaborative work environment through effective communication and coaching.
iv) Able to empower and mentor the team into future leaders.
(2) Customer Centric Approach:
i) Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction through personalized service and a well-stocked and organized retail space.
ii) Resolve customer issues promptly and effectively, fostering a customer-centric culture.
iii) Develop, coach & mentor your team in delivering exceptional customer experiences.
(3) Sales and Performance Management:
i) Drive sales growth through effective merchandising, promotions, and excellent product knowledge.
ii) Monitor and analyse key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify areas for improvement and implement strategies for success.
(4) Inventory & stock control:
i) Manage inventory levels to ensure product availability and prevent stockouts.
ii) Implement effective stock control measures and conduct regular stock assessments.
(5) Operational efficiency:
i) Oversee daily store operations, including opening and closing procedures.
ii) Implement and enforce operational policies and procedures for efficiency and compliance.
(6) Budget Management:
i) Develop and manage budgets, ensuring financial goals are met.
ii) Analyse financial reports and implement strategies to improve profitability.
Qualifications:
1) Proven experience as a Retail Store Manager or similar leadership role in a service station or Roadhouse.
2) Strong leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to motivate and engage a team.
3) Exceptional customer service and communication skills.
4) Results-driven mindset with a track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
5) Knowledge of retail management best practices and a passion for staying updated on industry trends.
6) Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
7) Experience in Development and Performance plans
8) Having an Owner's Mindset in your leadership style
9) Positive and proactive approach to safety, health, and wellbeing
10) Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
