My Gateway has a great engineering (fabrication) opportunity available for a 2nd year apprentice. Our client Favelle Favco Cranes, based in Prestons, design and manufacture heavy lift, offshore and tower cranes. As part of this apprenticeship you will complete a nationally recognised trade, a Certificate III in Engineering - Fabrication Trade. Description of tasks:
General fabrication- boiler making, welding, cutting and grinding.
Operating overhead cranes.
General duties in the factory assisting the tradesman.
Operating power tools and working with team in the factory.
Candidate Criteria:
Reliable and willing to learn.
Manners and respect for the team is very important.
Driver's licence and White Card required.
