We are looking for a candidate who can provide high level finance, procurement and administrative support for a State Government department. Ideally, you will have experience in the Construction industry and can provide project support to ensure operational objectives are met. This is an ongoing temporary assignment in Nerang starting ASAP, paying $46.80 p/hr plus super.
Key duties:
Provide high-quality support to management and project teams, including operational costing, financial management, procurement, and project administration services.
Manage requisition, ordering, purchasing, and payment processes, ensuring project requirements are met
Compile, analyse, and generate financial reports to monitor project tracking.
Maintain, monitor, and input data into information systems and document management systems.
Manage employee timesheets and ensure correct allowances and entitlements are applied according to awards, work agreements and departmental policies.
Provide expert support and advice to suppliers, internal teams, and management.
Skills and Experience:
Proven finance experience, ideally experience with accounts receivable and accounts payable.
Experience in the Construction industry would be highly advantageous
Experience using finance systems such as SAP, Excel & Xero
Strong data entry and analytical skills
Strong Communication Skills
This is an ongoing temporary assignment, based in Nerang and paying $46.80 p/hr plus super.
